Aaaah - smash books! What would I do without them?
When I was younger I was a really simple being. At 10, I wouldn't even probably have thought I would be scrapbooking in the future. I was a real tom-boy! Now that I'm a bit taller and a bit wiser, I have found new interests and hobbies that are not only suitable for me, but more helpful in life. (e.g. by scrapbooking I get to be more creative, explore my potential and use it for my benefit. With toy cars, what do I learn? to push a miniature object back and forth?) I guess I'm being a bit judgemental, but nevertheless...
On the left, you can see an example of a smash book. It can be used to write, stick or draw in nonsense! You can eventually end up with a book full of receipts and cheques that you have kept for memories. This is just a way of emptying out the junk drawers :)
I never really knew how they thought of calling the product a SMASH book, but it's pretty clever! I guess it's an instruction for a newbie scrap booker, simply smash the stuff in! They are quite expensive but in my opinion, they're worth it!
